Portfolio

The below works were created as the final project for my spring digital art course. The theme was the light in the nighttime. Each work is broken up into quarters to give a sense of time passing over night. They were all created in Photoshop and use mixed media in the form of scanned textured materials and blended images.

 

All four of my works follow some form of movement. Additionally, I used the same background scan as I did in the mixed media piece for sketchbook, but this time I decreased the lightness and increased the contrast to get a darker and deeper blue for the nighttime sky. Typically, I focused on creating the first image in the upper left corner so that I could copy and paste the pieces in the first image in each of the following but then manipulating certain pieces to display the movement.
